Let the people praise Him
Psalms 67:5-6 Let the people praise Thee, O God, let all the people praise Thee. Then shall the earth yield her increase, and God our own God shall bless us.
God’s favour is upon our lives. You need to believe it and praise God, no matter what you see! God wants to bless us and care for us all the days of our life. The enemy is after our identity, destiny, vision and our ability to receive the favour of God. Satan knows that if he succeeds in cutting our faith in God, that our favour with God will also dry up. Our faith is the channel through which His blessings flow. We are all faced with difficult circumstances in life. The enemy is after the vision God gave us. If he steals our vision, we become hopeless and ultimately faithless and despondent.
I know that I know, that God’s desire is to raise us out of our difficult and unpleasant circumstances. I also know that misery, bad attitude, bitterness, complaining and even our blaming of others take our eyes off of God, focussing our attention on the seemingly hopeless, darkness instead. Dark words and dark thoughts attract dark forces and defeat.
1 Thessalonians 5:18 In everything give thanks, for this is the will of God in Jesus Christ concerning you.
Faith always sees hope. Faith always gives thanks because faith knows that God is in control. A negative attitude already sees defeat. We have to be vigilant to focus on the things above and to guard our vision. We have to look at our difficult circumstances through the glasses of faith in Christ. Knowing who God is and that He will never leave us nor forsake us.
The challenge is to keep on speaking life, even though we don't see anything yet in the flesh. The enemy often increases the pressure right at this point – just when we aim at seeing the heavenly truth. With this pressure, he wants us to bow down in fear and worship him, instead of us bowing before God in faith and thanking Him for His blessing and favour in our lives. Meditating on the Word day and night and speaking the Word – charges our faith. The words we speak today, is the house we live in tomorrow.
Divine favour is ours! We see the example as we read about Mary and Naphtali receiving and enjoying divine favour.
Luke 2:52 And Jesus increased in wisdom and stature, and in favour with God and man.
If I am in Him and He is in me – then I believe that God and man’s favour shall rest upon our lives! I think that one day we will be shocked when we see the true fruits of the power of blessing and speaking life into ourselves and our circumstances! What are we waiting for? In many of the difficult times that we faced on Aldo’s healing journey, God showed me to bless his brain, to bless all his wounds (soul and spirit) and to speak life and truth! We have tasted the curse – but knew it was time to trade it for the blessing.
I have learned that words of death create the curse. So, let us release words of life to release the blessing. Our words are creative – it has creative power. We have to bless and speak life in every situation we face. I cannot but trust in God. He came through every time – in good or bad. He made a way where there seemed to be no way! This is who He is – our faithful God. I choose to bless all the difficulties and trade it with breakthrough! Our words and faith in God will move the mountain. In Jesus Christ’s name!
Run the race of faith. Don't give up – your words pave the way.
