God loves impossible situations

31 May 2019

For with God nothing is ever impossible and no word from God shall be without power or impossible of fulfilment (Luke 1:37).

How many times in your life did you face challenges and thought to yourself –

“This is impossible, I will never be able to do this!?”

God wants us as Christians to look at the challenges we face through eyes of faith. We can do nothing without faith in Christ.

On my journey of faith, I have learned that God is not overwhelmed by impossible situations.  He uses those situations to show Himself faithful and mindful. These difficult situations bring us to a place of surrender and give God the opportunity to take us into the realm of faith.

But without faith it is impossible to please and be satisfactory to Him. For whoever would come near to God must [necessarily] believe that God exists and that He is the rewarder of those who earnestly and diligently seek Him [out] (Heb 11:6).

God is faithful and He wants us to understand how faith works. Faith is only activated in the faith realm of the spirit. Faith requires us to become one with Him.  In Him is the supply of all we need. We can speak many words, but outside of Him they have very little power. Yet, in Him, our words and thoughts carry the power and authority of the Kingdom.

We are either in union with Him or in union with the world. Anything not in agreement and in union with God is powerless. When we are not in Him, we are in agreement with the world, with fear and with doubt, where there is no peace and no victory.

In Him – is the place from which we make declarations, speak life, see the things that we hope for, create our destiny with words of faith, stand in our authority and even take dominion over what we face. All through faith in God.

For years, Aldo did not get out of the house much. Because of his struggle to walk, taking him to the mountain, or even just walking down the street is a challenge.

We began to pray, asking our Abba for a way to take Aldo out on a bicycle.

We knew that this needed to be a tandem, because Aldo would not be able to ride on his own.  This bike also needed to be sturdy, because Aldo and Tinus are tall men. Our list or specs also included a motor for the bike.  Aldo cannot do too much strenuous exercise. Often times, after too much exercise, he would get a seizure. We ended with such a long list of requirements, knowing that such a bike with these specifications would be very expensive.

As a family we started to make sacrifices and started saving. Aldo prayed diligent every day. Many days I thought to myself – I am not sure how we will be able to do this…. But hearing Aldo repeatedly thanking God for the bicycle God is preparing for him, stirred our faith.

One morning he asked his Dad, “So, when are you going to start looking for this bicycle?” Tinus started looking and found the perfect bicycle!

As they went riding Tinus felt something was wrong behind his back – “Aldo, what is going on at the back?” He asked.

“I am lifting my arms in the air Dad!”

“You cannot do that while we cycle – put them down, you are throwing us off balance!”

“No, I am just thanking Jesus for this!”

Sometimes he forgets to look in front of him, and keeps on greeting the people that passes by.

As I sa them riding past me, I heard my Abba saying, “Yes, My child, I am a faithful Father.”

All that you are and all that you received and all you will ever be, is by the pure

grace of our Abba Father. Whatever you do, do it for Him. Love Him and give all the glory to Him. Always be grateful to those who prayed for you, supported you, and lifted your arms to make your burden a little lighter. Be always grateful and give it all back to Jesus, so that He can use you for His glory to even a greater extend.

Today, I know that I can trust God for anything and everything in my life. Nothing is impossible to Him.

Maybe you are overwhelmed by a seemingly impossible situation. Don’t be afraid. Jesus doesn’t see those things as impossible at all. He has already the answer.

Remember – STAY IN HIM

Remain in peace and don’t ever forget that we serve the God of the impossible!

Thank you for your love, always.

Retah and family.
