God has a special purpose for us.
1 Cor 2:9-11 But, on the contrary, as the Scripture says, What eye has not seen and ear has not heard and has not entered into the heart of man, [all that] God has prepared (made and keeps ready) for those who love Him [who hold Him in affectionate reverence, promptly obeying Him and gratefully recognizing the benefits He has bestowed]. Yet to us God has unveiled and revealed them by and through His Spirit, for the [Holy] Spirit searches diligently, exploring and examining everything, even sounding the profound and bottomless things of God [the divine counsels and things hidden and beyond man's scrutiny]. For what person perceives (knows and understands) what passes through a man's thoughts except the man's own spirit within him? Just so no one discerns (comes to know and comprehend) the thoughts of God except the Spirit of God.
I know that our Abba Father wants us to walk in His divine favour (breakthrough, revelation and increased intimacy). He wants to share everything with us – even His mysteries. He wants to walk with us, fellowship with us, comfort us, lead us and teach us; every step of the way. As He walks with us, He encourages us to walk through the valleys and not to stop in front of them. He does not want us to give up just because the journey seems too hard. He wants us to fight till the end and finish the race well.
In our walking with God, He teaches us to govern that which He has entrusted to us. And through His instructions we are progressively changed into His likeness.
As we learn to follow Him and obey His voice, He blesses us to become fruitful – all for His glory. He is the vine and we are the branches. We as the branches, bear the fruit – revealing Yeshua. This fruit will bring sustenance to a hungry world. Just as our spirits are called to bring glorious light into a dark world.
The key is, staying in Him – being one with Him. Only then do we start operating in and through Him. When I talk about favour, I also refer to the truth about your situation. He will reveal His secrets to you. He will help you through difficult times, so that He can expose His nature and ability through you and your situation. In this way, you become intimately acquainted with Him and are taught to trust in, lean on and rely upon Him as our vital necessity. Through Him we can overcome everything. He wants to maximize our abilities – body, soul and spirit. Our spirits need to be trained in Godliness.
There is a gift – a treasure inside all of us – which He wants to use for His Kingdom on earth. We are called to be a vessel for the Master’s use. That is who we are. Yes, we do get tired, wondering if He knows what we are going through.
Gently, I hear Him responding, “My child, you have a role to play in this end-time generation. There is nothing about you which I do not know. I am aware of everything that you are going through. I observe all of your ways. There is nothing that you do or say that is hidden to Me. I am with you and I will not leave you. I have everything you need, at the ready. I will fight with you.
I see your sacrificial labour, the tribulation you have endured, yes, even from My children. I see how you completely surrender everything to Me. You have laid it all down – your family, possessions, inheritance, dearest friends – all to know Me more. Keep your eyes focused on Me whilst you run this race of faith. I am the exceedingly great reward. Not man’s approval – but God’s! Nothing of the world will satisfy you. Because you have tasted My love. I want you to keep on searching for the manna of My truth. I will continue to commune with your heart and reveal these truths to you as you lay your head on My bosom.
My child, I want you to overcome every adversary, the biggest one being, self. To overcome does not mean to win a battle over someone else. But, rather to win the battle over the one inside. Your most deadly, deceitful enemies are inside of your own garden. Trees of pride, jealousy, deceit, greed, unforgiveness, lust and so much more. Many times, they are rooted at the core of your being – that’s why you struggle with these things.
You cannot be called a ruler of nations until you have defeated your own enemies on the inside of your kingdom. None of this can be done by yourself. Your spirit needs to be strengthened by My Spirit. It takes Spirit to strengthen spirit. As you stay in Me and I in you, the Tree of Life will extend its roots deep down into you, through love.
I love you my dear child, stand up and push through. Be strong my little one – trust Me because I can do exceedingly, abundantly more than you can ask or think.”

Retah and family
This week I am going to do a charity walk from Light house to light house – a 100km in four days. In life, there are spiritual and physical journeys. I pray that Abba Father will strengthen me, so that I will be able to finish well.
I am doing this walk for a children’s home for disabled children. I know and understand the financial strain that comes with raising a disabled heart. All the funds we raise, go towards helping and assisting them financially. I see this as an opportunity to sow in their lives. God bless those children!
