What is offered in love is received by faith

John 3:16 For God so greatly loved and dearly prized the world that He [even] gave up His only begotten (unique) Son, so that whoever believes in (trusts in, clings to, relies on) Him shall not perish (come to destruction, be lost) but have eternal (everlasting) life.

YHVH is standing with His hands outstretched; full of blessings, full of life and full of abundance. His face is radiant with love and acceptance. However, to receive all that, we need to draw near through faith. There is no other option and there is no other way. YHVH is waiting to bless you, but faith in Him is the prerequisite. YHVH and all that is within Him awaits us, but we can only enter into this fullness by having faith in Him.  We need to travel on the path of faith. It is so simple, but yet also so difficult for those who want to do it in their own strength.

I was ministering in a small little town a month ago and on my way to the airport the husband and wife told me about their struggle to become pregnant.  Their doctor said that they won’t be able to conceive.  I listened to them and then asked if I could pray for them. I began by breaking all the curses spoken over them, the generational curses of death on them (because they have lost a baby before), the curses on her womb, his seed and I just kept on praying as Holy Spirit led me. Then I started to bless them, blessing his seed, her womb and asking Abba Father to bless them with a baby. Then by faith I asked them to visualise that they were pregnant, to form a picture of how excited they are and what the baby looks like. When they dropped me at the airport, I said, “enjoy the baby and be blessed!” One month later and I received an email – “We are pregnant!”  Yes, as you believe, so it will be. All the glory to YHVH, the Creator of all!

It is the Rugby world cup and we are all watching South Africa playing their hearts out. It was a hard game last week and I could see that they took a lot of strain. Even our captain’s jaw was broken and now he is off for the rest of the tournament. But the game goes on! We are not at the end yet. The game is not determined by one person. There is always a bigger picture and with faith you will be able to see it.

Faith is not merely being able to watch a game with confidence or with a positive attitude. Faith is not having a lot of confidence or trying to ignore the losing moments. It is not trying to speak courageously of victory through personal strength and discipline when all appears lost.  Faith is determined by what we know prior to the event. Faith is pre-knowledge of the coming victory and this knowledge brings peace. Faith is seeing and speaking what He says. It is agreeing with His Word and character.

If we know no more than anybody else before the game, then we will be the same as everybody else during the game.

Faith is YHVH’s Word becoming alive and real to us in a personal way in our situations and challenges. Faith is the result of YHVH declaring the outcome to our hearts through His Word, or Holy Spirit. And when we hear the outcome, believing His Word, we know the outcome and expect it as the truth. It is when we stand on this knowing that we are standing on His Word of faith. The Word that we receive will become alive as we act upon it.

So, faith comes from hearing, and hearing by the Word of YHVH. You will play the game, it will be hard and some will leave the field, some will bleed. But when we have the picture of the outcome in our heart, we will play till the very end with joy! I have learned that the stronger the trust in my ‘hearing’, the less impact the so called ‘facts’ of the game will have on us. Faith is believing His Word even if it opposes the facts.  Once we know the outcome, we will own the outcome.

The Hebrews writer says, “By faith and patience (we shall) inherit (or receive) the promises (the collective hopes of YHVH’s Word.”

Let us make time to ‘HEAR FROM YHVH’, and then we will be able to watch and play the game of life with peace.

We are all in the game of life. We are the ones going backward and forward, being tackled and getting hurt in the game, sweating and straining. Our loved ones are also playing and we are cheering them on. But, sometimes I see people yelling and cursing one another. Some of our family members may even play for the opposition and that hurts when you receive a tackle from your own family. The enemy, Satan, is a very talented player, he never plays fair. He is a great deceiver and knows how to use our own weaknesses against us.

Nevertheless, the principles are still the same. With YHVH on our side and Holy Spirit guiding us all the way, helping us to run the race of faith – we are always capable of winning.  We know that He that is within us, is greater than HE THAT IS IN THE WORLD.  We are more than conquerors through Him who strengthens us.  To win, we must practice and practice and practice till we are able to play the game of life – out of faith with love, faith and peace.

I want to show you the end, the last page – it says that the enemy has been defeated and that is all that we need to know! Can you see it?

Revelation 12:11 And they have overcome (conquered) him by means of the blood of the Lamb and by the utterance of their testimony, for they did not love and cling to life even when faced with death [holding their lives cheap till they had to die for their witnessing].  YHVH asked of us to take His gospel all over the world telling people that Yeshua is alive. And that is what we are doing. We are on our way to Germany and then to France.

The book in Thailand is an amazing gift to the people. It remains a miracle to me to see how Holy Spirit flows through the book and people just cry and cry when they read the book. They all have a hunger for YHVH and receive Him into their lives. We are walking by faith and are going to print more books to distribute free of charge in Thailand.

The book ‘A message from God’ is now also being translated into French. It is amazing to see the hunger in the people of Europe for Holy Spirit and Truth.

Thank you for your love, for your encouragement and thank you for helping us to take the gospel all over the world. My family are with me on this trip and Aldo is so excited that he can do what YHVH has asked of him.  Tinus is turning 50 on this trip, and that is his gift from Abba Father!

So start to see the end results of your race, and walk it by faith, in the presence of your Abba Father.

Love you

Retha and family
