Seeking the fullness of YHVH’s love.

Ephesians 3:14-21

There is no greater thing that we can ask for than the love of YHVH in Yeshua. Everything in life flows out of this love.  You may say, ”I seek wisdom and knowledge, I seek acceptance, I seek to be acknowledged”.  Then you only gained a part. I look at Solomon and see how his wisdom went astray, and his knowledge led to pride!

But the love of Christ surpasses all these things.

What brings meaning to your life? Your life partner, your children, wealth, relationships, sports, spiritual experiences?

We all have a deep longing inside of us. When you don’t fill the longing with the love of Christ, it will be filled with other things that will not fulfil that deep longing – but lead you astray.

The enemy climbs into the deep secret pain (longings) of the heart; where you feel that you do not belong. He starts to fill you up with evil fleshly desires, fleshly dreams and thoughts. Out of this place he starts to rule your life. Those evil thoughts become memories that play over and over in your mind. Memories carry emotions, and the emotions become actions. It is all born out of pain, disappointments and anger. Anger what people did to you. You trusted man so much, you needed acceptance so badly, and now you find yourself playing alone in the blaming game. You are carrying hidden hate, hidden curses come out of your heart, and you become a bitter person. How can man be so dependent on people’s acceptance?  Forgive those who hurt you, you don’t need to walk on the same path with them. But we need to forgive!

We must be rooted and grounded in Yeshua’s love and acceptance. We must have that foundation in our lives. We cannot jump from nothing to something, that’s when we fall. To be grounded in YHVH’s love comes from salvation – faith in which Christ dwells in our hearts.

Then I shall not measure myself against others, I shall not try to find favour with man, but I am secured in knowing I am a child of God. He loves me, and He is proud to call me “son or daughter”.

Psalm 84:5 “Blessed is the man whose strength is in You, whose heart is set on pilgrimage.”

This is the life lessons that I teach my family and myself.

Always be anchored in the love and acceptance of YHVH, not in man’s acceptance.

Remember – your strength is in Him, not in yourself or who you know!

Trade your pain and sorrow daily – with healing and joy.

Set your heart steadfast on the call that Yeshua has on your life.

Run the race of faith, run and don’t murmur.

Be joyful and thankful, you have so much to be thankful for.

It is a new month – July, mid-winter in South Africa. As I opened my bedroom doors this morning I could hear the birds singing. Even though it is still so chilly, a joy came into my heart just by knowing – every season change! Winter will never continue forever, though it feels sometimes if our winter seasons are just never ending in the spirit. I want to encourage you today, start listening to the birds that announce ……The season is turning today….. The season is turning today…… the season is turning today”. I was so happy that I ran to Josh and told him, “Josh, it is the 2ndof July today, the season is turning today!”

We need to announce it to ourselves – there is a new season waiting for me. Fill your dark memories with the blood of Yeshua, trade darkness for light. And learn to enjoy today. Enjoy the “now” and speak life!

Josh and I are leaving for the USA. We are so excited and so thankful to have this privilege that he can join me where I minister.

How I thank YHVH for a new season in our lives!

I love you and bless you.

Retah and family.

This year the Lord really worked in our hearts to be totally transparent. I do believe that Yeshua can only do with our lives as much as we trust Him, and as much as we are transparent – taking full r
