Do You Ever Wonder About the Well-Being of Your Soul – or can you say” It is well with my soul”.
So many have asked how far we are with the Widows Well.
As much as we have found a perfect place that can work for what we need it for, we still need the full amount to give to the widow who is selling the property.
How can I say it works for us, but not for her? She needs the security of the full amount; therefore, she keeps the house on the market.
In the meantime, we have a secured 65% of the needed funds, and will you ever know how thankful we are to these people who have such open hearts and generous hands?
As soon as we have the full amount in the Foundation’s account, we can follow through as God leads.
Therefore, I know that the necessary forms will be filled in when the time is right—not a day before and not a day too late.
For now, all the donations are safe in the McPherson Faith Foundation, and I truly believe that soon we will have the full amount.
Thank you, thank you so very much for walking in faith with us as God builds His house, for if not, man builds in vain.
Every donation is a tangible act of love and faith. Each gift, whether large or small helps us continue this work and reminds us that we do not walk this journey alone.
The excitement and fire in our hearts are real. When you read the letters from widows who have already responded to this hope, you can only say, “Thank You, Jesus.” Together we believe for a place of restoration, dignity and hope as this will be a house of prayer.
Hebrews 13:16
“We will show mercy to the poor and not miss an opportunity to do acts of kindness for others. For these are the true sacrifices that delight God’s heart.”
Indeed, for some it is a silent prayer filled with hope and trust in God, and for others it is a prayer filled with many tears as they desperately look for a place called home.
The spirit of fear loves to control the heart and mind of man. But God says, “No, you are My beloved child, and I will take care of you.”
The final say is always God’s, and He taught me well.
He said,
“My child, never allow manipulation near you. Keep your eyes on Me.”
The man who said, “It is well with my soul”—do you know that man?
Mercy me…..
His well was deep within his heart, deep below the pain and all the accusations of, “Why did this happen to me, Lord?”
Yet he chose to stand up straight and say to the accuser of the brethren,
“It is well with my soul.”
This well of mine was blocked for years , in fact—until the day I saw that the end from the beginning was already in me:
Christ in me, the hope of glory.
This is deep writing. Let the Holy Spirit teach you as He taught me.
My eyes opened, and I could see for myself.
That day was a stay-at-home day for Aldo because he was too sick to go anywhere but home…
That meant we all stopped and knew we needed to rest at home.
For a child of God, home is not only a building.
Home is the place where the heart returns to the Father and says,
“Lord, please dwell here. Make my heart Your home.”
John 14:23:
“If anyone loves Me, he will keep My word; and My Father will love him, and We will come to him and make Our home with him.”
Imagine me carrying “home” within me.
This deep home is Christ formed in us, love restored in us, and the heart no longer worrying about tomorrow – but trust in God’s love that never fails.
Jesus, You are my more than enough.
Jesus is the Rock, and faith is the foundation.
To everyone who search for home...
Speak loudly and speak it out:
I am who God say I am.
I am loved by the King – so I may ask of Him.
You are allowed to sing a new song—a song of mercy and a song of grace.
I can only imagine, that even if………
Even if life does not turn out the way I planned……
It is still well with my soul.
Find that well deep beneath the debris and see for yourself how faithful God is.
Now I see.
Now I understand.
Now I know that Go was with me all along.
Gratitude, so much thankfulness to Jesus Christ, the only living God, as my soul recognizes that every good gift, every breath, every moment of mercy, and every hope for the future comes from Him.
Psalm 103:1:
“Bless the Lord, O my soul; and all that is within me, bless His holy name.”
“It is well with my soul.”
That is the revelation of Jesus Christ received in a believing heart.
To trust Jesus, even when circumstances remain difficult.
The soul rests, not because I can answer all my questions, but because I have found the One who is Truth.
The prophet Isaiah said it this way:
Isaiah 26:3:
“You will keep him in perfect peace, whose mind is stayed on You, because he trusts in You.”
This is my heart for this day.
