To be anchored in God is a gift from God

To live a life where God is your anchor is a precious gift. Does your life reflect this gift? I had to learn the hard way that this gift does not mean that every circumstance in your life is perfect or even needs to be perfect in order for you to have joy. This gift of being anchored in God is one of the most beautiful gifts of God to His children, but the value of a natural anchor is most precious in storms – and so also with this spiritual anchor of God’s faithfulness.

Prov. 8:35 says: “For whoever finds Me, finds life”

Before you find true happiness in life, you first need to find this life spoken of in Proverbs... you need to find Him – Jesus, you need to find Wisdom.

It is not found in another religion or theology but in His Kingdom – A Kingdom of LIFE. It is a Kingdom filled with harmony, peace, joy and freedom in Christ. Even though this freedom and life is what Jesus wants for all of us, many people choose religion and the false safety of the box it provides, and then they try so hard to put Jesus in that box with them. Most people are attracted to this ‘safety’, because then they don’t have to risk anything. You see, faith actually means to risk everything! Because faith is to walk the road of the unseen – the road where the impossible can be achieved. So many people are afraid to trust God, and that is because they aren’t anchored in His love. Without this assurance of His love, life will be a dull and unfulfilling, without streams of living water flowing from your inner being. A Life in Jesus is where you are one with the source and because you are one with Him, you will have His nature. His nature and character will be visible in your life without you even having to say one word. When you are filled and overflowing with the Holy Spirit you won’t need to put your knowledge on the table for people to see who you are, you will be led by the Spirit of God and He will testify that you are a Son of God (Rom. 8:14).

Every human being is hungry for life - true life! But so many people run after many strange things trying to get this life; but carnal life is not true life, and it will never bring lasting fulfilment. That is the reason why people consult anything under the sun trying to find out what the future may hold... they burn incense, use crystals and consult the stars. All these things are just their way of seeking ‘life’ outside of the one true God.

He does not delight in the strength of the horse; He takes no pleasure in the legs of a man. The LORD takes pleasure in those who fear Him, in those who hope in His mercy (Ps. 147:10-11).

It is a wicked world that we live in and even Christians fall into these traps. Do not run after prophets or place your trust in mere men. Choose in this hour to run after the voice of the One who died for you on the cross. Know His voice, know His life and be one with Him and Him alone. If you are not anchored in Him you will be so vulnerable to the deception of the enemy and you will fall for any good thing that has a form of godliness but denies its power (2 Tim. 3:5)

It is the death of Jesus that sets us free and brought us into this “divine life” of being one with Christ and being anchored in Him. Because of His sacrifice you and I now have the freedom and the promise of “life in Christ”!

This ‘life’ is for every area of our lives. It is for our spirit, for our marriages, for our work, for our minds, for our relationships, for our finances and for our family and even for our dreams. How much of His divine life do you have in your life – in your body, soul, and spirit?  Until you become anchored in Him you will never find life in any other area of your life. It means that until you are not content with ‘Christ in me the hope of glory’ as your fulfilment, you will never be content with the rest. To be in Him means that you live your life according to His resurrection life because only His resurrection life brings healing to a broken soul. To love Him and be obedient to Him will be your goal in everything you do. Jesus, His love - His liquid love – brings healing to our broken souls. Life in Him brings real hope, lasting peace, new dreams, eternal purpose and divine destiny!

The “God kind of life” is what this ‘life’ I am talking about is called. If you don’t live in this divine life you will live like a carnal Christian and you will only live according to the natural understanding of man. Many of these people do have a measure of prosperity in some areas of their lives and they might even look happy on the outside and act happy behind their masks, but on the inside they are not plugged in with God. To be one with God is to partake of His divine life. In contrast, there are those who do not partake of divine life and they will be recognized by their “never satisfied” lifestyle. They will always need to be the centre of attention, they are never at peace within themselves, they always need so have the last word, they are never content and always complaining... they always want more, more, more. They know all about Christ but don’t experience Him in the Spirit. God is Spirit. Through His life giving Holy Spirit He leads us into all truth. If not, then you will live your life according the impulses and desires of your soul dimension; but in order to be a son of God you need to be led by the Spirit of God. To live in this resurrected life you need faith in God and that is why so many people want to throw away the mighty works of the Spirit of God. Faith cannot be rationalized, for faith is the substance of things not seen.

Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good testimony. By faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that the things which are seen were not made of things which are visible (Heb. 11:1-3).

The “God kind of life” is different from your carnal kind of life where you can plan your life according to your will and desires. What you do, where you go, what your children will become... this type of thinking is a part of the carnal life where you are in your comfort zone and where you are independent and don’t need to trust God. It is a place where you have everything under control. It is so dangerous to be at this place of independence, because God cannot help you with those things that you haven’t surrendered to Him. He is waiting for us to surrender and empty our hands so that He can take control and have His way with our lives. And as we empty ourselves we decrease so that He can increase. The lighter you are in the spirit, the higher you can “fly” in the spirit... you can soar like an eagle with the winds of Holy Spirit beneath you – because you are free! With nothing in your hands pulling you under but you will be anchored in Christ to Abba Father - the Rock of ages.

In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it (John 1:4-5).

Even if the situations are not perfect around you. When you partake of His divine life you won’t seek God for a perfect situation, you will just enjoy Christ in every situation. When storms come, you will enjoy Him as your shelter and rock. When you feel alone or scared, you will enjoy Him as your shield and comforter. When you are confused or lost, you will enjoy Him as your Shepherd. When you are happy and joyful, you will enjoy Him as your song!

When you enjoy Him in every situation you will find peace in your life, because life is never perfect. I have found that “life is beautiful “when you are anchored in Jesus Christ!

I have learned all these things from Aldo who is not “perfect” in the flesh, but who is anchored in Christ. It has opened my eyes to the fact that life doesn’t have to be perfect in order for it to beautiful – it only has to be in Christ!

This weekend someone asked me why I don’t put more of Aldo’s letters on the web. Believe me I want to, but sometimes I really just don’t have the time. I am away from home a lot of the time and I have to read his letters first before it goes on the web. Holy Spirit leads me what to put on and what not to put on. Many times his letters are about the things Holy Spirit is busy teaching me, or about the situations we face, or even just an encouraging word to Aldo for the work that he has to do for the King. He takes it all very serious. Sometimes the letters are about specific people we have to intercede for, or about the things he saw in the spirit regarding them. Some of these things I don’t share with anyone else, not even my husband. Aldo and I just pray about it or do warfare or whatever Wisdom asks us to do. Sometimes it will be about nations or Presidents or special meetings that Holy Spirit leads us to pray for. Sometimes He will lead Aldo to speak specific Bible verses into the universe. He is sooo obedient to Wisdom’s voice!

I have to be very sensitive as to what I put on the web-site for all to see. I am rather cautions and on the safe side, and I know Holy Spirit respects and understands that. As you have probably noticed Aldo’s letters are not perfect grammatically. It comes out the way Holy Spirit speaks to him, and as he hears it and writes it down.

It is not always easy to be obedient to what Wisdom opens up to Aldo, but I just don’t have any other choice than to do what He asks of us because He has proved Himself faithful so many times before. Aldo is no god – he is only a young man who is plugged in with Wisdom. Please, please, please don’t put your eyes on him – he is only human.

In this last hour that we are moving into we cannot afford to have our eyes on mere men. We all need to hear from Wisdom ourselves. Even though I learn a lot from Wisdom through Aldo and I know God uses him in this hour, I still turn to Holy Spirit Himself to lead me and to teach me. I would be foolish if I make his letters my only source of hearing from Wisdom. I have made so many mistakes in my life because I wasn’t able to hear God’s voice, so I have learned from my mistakes to become really quiet ant to listen to His voice clearly for myself. Holy Spirit longs to speak to each and every one of us the way He speaks to Aldo. I believe it is there for all of us, but we need to die in self, become quiet and be surrendered to His Spirit so that Wisdom will be able to trust us the way He trusts Aldo. He is only an empty broken vessel that God uses to pour His Wisdom into so that we can eat of that fresh manna – just like David wrote the psalms... all through God’s Wisdom and grace. God uses Aldo for a special plan and purpose. Learn with me from what God gives us through Aldo’s pen, but remember God is not a respecter of person. Let us all seek God’s voice in such a beautiful and unique way. He has showed us through Aldo that He can speak to anyone. It doesn’t matter what condition you are in, as long as you are dead to self God can use us all.

Therefore humble yourselves under the mighty hand of God, that He may exalt you in due time, casting all your care upon Him, for He cares for you (1 Pet. 5:6-7).

That is the one thing that God needs you to have – humility. Pride will keep your ears shut from the voice of God. The carnal nature is at war with the Spirit. We need to be one with God in His life – in the Spirit.

Stay in Him, enjoy life, and keep on watching the condition of your tongue - speak life!
