The day has finally arrived! Our book “A Message of Faith” is to be released this weekend.
We are all so excited because we know the hour is here. The coming of the King is so near!
Aldo wrote in the foreword of the book:
I dedicate this book to Dwane and Anton, the boys I met in heaven. You are my friends and I will see you again in heaven. I wish I was with you. I worked hard to write this book before Jesus comes to fetch us. God says He will be sending Jesus soon.
I didn’t sleep a wink last night. I knew the books would be delivered this morning, and so many things went through my mind the whole night. I was scared, I was excited, and it felt as if a baby is being born in the spirit.
But the enemy did not let me to go through this without a fight!
Many people wonder how God can use Aldo without him being perfectly healed.
Yes He can! Isaiah 55 verse 8-9 says:
“’For My thoughts are not your thoughts, neither are your ways May ways,’ says the Lord. ‘For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways. And My thoughts thank your thoughts.’”
God is not looking for the perfect person; He is looking for the willing person. Don’t be moved by the world’s words or the secular way of thinking. Don’t be afraid, and don’t lose your faith! Focus on God alone.
‘Retha, I want you to mount up to the higher places - go higher my child. I want to clothe you with strength, humility, and My peace, so that you can serve Me and others more.
‘My children will be known by the servant-heart that is beating inside of them. Keep on pouring out yourself to others. Don’t focus on Aldo and his path. Even though his road is difficult, I hold him tightly in My arms. Focus on Me, and above all - LOVE Me!
Mark 12 verse 29-30: “The Lord your God is the only God. And you must love Him with all your heart and soul and might and strength.”
‘You need to be completely absorbed with who I am. In My love Retha, there alone, you will overcome the world. Love can never fail! Let Me, let My Holy Spirit, control all of who you are.
‘Yes, also your emotions. Why you are so afraid of what people will say when they see Aldo on Friday night?
‘Ado has healthy spiritual muscles Retha, he can stand. It is you that need stronger muscles in the spirit - to keep on standing when the words of the world are thrown at you. The only way to exercise these muscles is to face your situation through My strength, and to stay one with Me.’
Psalm 18 verse 34: “He teaches my hands to war, so that my arms bend a bow of bronze.”
It feels to me as if there is a war going on in my thoughts.
And the closer we come to the launch of the book, the heavier the attack becomes. And I wonder: Is Aldo going to walk without stumbling on the stage? ... Will he be able to handle the adrenaline? ... What will people think if something goes wrong? ...
Lord, my God, please help me to shut out these worry-thoughts and turn my mind towards You, and You alone. I want to trust in You and rely on You completely, and now I exercise my spiritual muscles in this area. Thank you for taking control over this dry and weak area of my life now. Your Word says: Those who are led by the Spirit of God are called sons of God. Thank you for making me victorious over my weak area of distrust.
‘Retha, as you grow in My love, you will come to understand My ways more and more. I use who I want, however I want. I chose Aldo, do not seek perfection of the flesh, my child. Rather seek to see a heart fully loving God. You will develop this gift of understanding…as you grow in My love.’
O sweet Jesus, please help us. I can see how difficult it is for Tinus and myself to share Aldo in his imperfection with the world. But here we choose to give ourselves to You. Please be the centre of our lives, and let not our desires become all we live for. I embrace now, in this new day, the joy, strength and power of Your presence. Thank You for being a living, loving God! Thank You that this book will help people to see that You are the God of the supernatural, and nothing is impossible for You!
Propelled by His love, we as a family, dare to trust Him for the things we cannot see. The end result of our faith is still hidden from human eyes, but God knows the end from the beginning.
2 Corinthians 4 verse 18: “Since we consider and look not to the things that are seen but unseen, for the things that are visible are temporal, but the things that are invisible are deathless and everlasting.”
Thank You, that with You, we can reach from the temporal into the everlasting, and live as You have designed our lives to be.
