The God-kind of Faith
Rom 4:17,18 And this promise is from God himself, who makes the dead live again and speak of future events with as much certainty as though they were already past......
Abraham believed God even though such a promise would take a miracle to come to pass. Because his faith was strong, he did not look at the fact that he was too old.
Abraham had the God-kind of faith!
What do you trust God for? Without a definite mission and purpose in life, most people spend time just wandering around aimlessly. Many often live out the expectations of others; children following the paths their parents propose. But, we all have a unique melody for our lives and it is such a pity if you dance to someone else’s tune – just to please them. Or maybe you follow their ideas without complaint because you just don't have your own dreams?
It is so important to go and sit on your Abba Father’s lap and allow Him to dream through you. That is how you develop your own mission and purpose in life with Holy Spirit that speaks to you. Here your spiritual eyes of understanding are opened and you begin to see what God sees and dreams over your life.
Our subconscious mind (spirit heart) has to have a picture. You have to see the vision –with your spiritual eyes. As soon as you see, you can write it down and your heart and emotions will follow. Your spirit heart works like the engine room of a boat. The direction you program into the computer of the engine room, is the direction that the boat will follow. The boat follows nothing other than the installed program. So, what do you program your life with? The Word of God teaches us that dreaming and seeing from our spirit hearts is one of the vital steps in following the God-kind of faith.
Proverbs 23:7 For as he thinks in his heart, so is he.
If you share God’s vision for your life, you will be filled with faith, and be able to walk on that path of faith. You will see the potential of things as they can and will be and not as they are right now. And if you don't believe any good will come; then you will not find anything good.
It is a spiritual law – as a man thinks he is, so he is. The moment your spirit heart has the vision and it is written down, spoken and believed, your life will follow suit. Your spirit heart directs you to fulfill the vision. I do believe what Habakkuk said: ‘Write down your vision’, is a clearly defined written mission or vision, the embodiment of your goals and desires.
I believe having vision is a gift from God – seeing what others don't see. And each one of us has to pursue their own visions and dreams – following straight after God’s heart.
Our hope for the future is not based on what we see with our natural senses, but on what we perceive with our spiritual senses. We have the ability to program our spirit heart with faith or fear. Remember you can be disappointed... but, still not moved into fear!
Psalm 25:5 Lead me by Your truth and teach me, for You are the God who saves me all day long. I put my hope in you.
Fear is the only thing that gets in the way of us realizing our full potential. Our fear is generally self-imposed or developed through the conditioning we receive from others. What do you think you could achieve in life, if you simply eliminated your fears?
The truth is -– you could achieve anything you want!
The more you are anchored in God YHVH, the less room there will be for fear. The more time we spend with Him in intimacy, just knowing we are one with Him and loved – the more your fear will lose its grip on you.
Fears are only thoughts, but your thoughts direct your path. No matter how long you've been dealing with a certain circumstance, sickness or disease... your focus should be to never give up or doubt the promises of God’s Word. I am also encouraging myself now. ‘Keep your focus – the boat will turn!!!! And it only turns towards the way your mind and your heart leads it.’
Our God is a living God, who gives us hope in the midst of overwhelming circumstances. Gen 18:14 Is anything too hard or too wonderful for the Lord?
If Abba Father can supply an enormous amount of manna and water in the desert, He can surely meet our every need and fill us with hope. It is so sad, but many people just don't have a healthy mental attitude. I have seen how people try to thrust their insecurities and negative thinking onto others; wanting you to think as they do. We need to develop a resistance to negative thoughts and immediately reprogram them according to God’s Word. By doing so, you will see opportunities where others fail to do. Even when you face adversity, your faith in God and His Word, your attitude of faith in your mind, will help you to overcome whatever you face.
Rom 4:20 He grew strong and was empowered by faith as he gave praise and glory to God.
Abraham never doubted. He believed God, for his faith and trust grew ever stronger and he praised God for the blessing even before it happened. Abraham exercised his faith.
Dr Martin Luther King Jr. said: “Faith is taking the first step even when you don't see the whole staircase”.
With a mind that is so cluttered with negative thoughts, you will never be able to hear the voice of your Abba. Become quiet and clear your heart from all the negative emotions, inputs and thoughts and fill it with the Word of God, together with Holy Spirit’s soft gentle voice. Then start dreaming with God – allow Him to lead you.
Speak it, write it down and then give that step of faith.
You have to give the step of faith – because faith without works is dead.
Holy Spirit leads us all to start dreaming and to program our hearts with the Wisdom of God’s voice and His love. Be still – there is a Spirit-filled message that God wants to send to you – you will hear it in your heart. Follow it, write it down, speak it, see it, envision it and it will be yours.
Habakkuk 2:4 The just shall live by his faith.
What a blessing to be a child of the Most High God, El Elyon.
I am so happy that He teaches us the way of faith – I have tasted and seen this in my own life!
I believe in the declaration of His Word. I believe in seeing with my spiritual eyes. I believe in writing down the vision. I believe to dream big and more than anything – I believe in YHVH Most High God, Yeshua His Son and Holy Spirit. He is the King of the universe.
Run the race of faith.
Retah and family!
