A lot of pain and darkness are hidden in the heart of man. We bury it deep and cover it with a mask.
Jer 17:9 The heart is deceitful above all things, and it is exceedingly perverse and corrupt and severely, mortally sick! Who can know it [perceive, understand, be acquainted with his own heart and mind]?
For Jesus, it is all about the condition of the heart. The heart of man needs to be redeemed – its dark desires need to die and to be transformed into His image and likeness. Not my will, but Your will be done. We need to prepare the highway for the King in our hearts. Our hearts are the landing place for Kingdom to come to earth.
Jacob’s life is such a good example to us. Like him, we first have to get to the end of self, seek God and repent of “deceiver”, and replace it with the real me, “Israel”. The tree of good and evil inside of our DNA carries our generational memories, verdicts, witnesses and testimonies. It either connects us to darkness and the second heaven, or it is a Tree of Life, a highway of holiness, connecting us to the Father’s heart and throne. Redeeming Jacob’s ladder is a process and it is amazing how Abba Father gives us ways to go in and clean out and get the root of the tree of good and evil out of us.

I think one of the greatest treasures is the Spirit of God resting upon us, leading us every step of the way, and showing us the true condition of our hearts. We have a title deed of faith – God wants us to be one with Him. But, most people still move in and out of His presence. We have not yet learned what it means to abide.
John 15:7 If you live in Me (abide vitally united to Me) and My words remain in you and continue to live in your hearts, ask whatever you will, and it shall be done for you.
It is the double identity in us that still controls us. We still dance to the tunes of darkness inside of us, but Jesus created an eternal destiny within man – it is called the eternal dance of life. This is the challenge, to dance not on the DNA strand of killing, stealing and destroying! But to the melody of life which Jesus has created – life in abundance.
James 1:8 A double-minded man is unstable in all his ways.
Learning to host His presence is what will make the difference in our lives.
Just think about that for a moment – Hosting the King in your heart. What a privilege to host Jesus. Who or what needs to be evicted so that He can abide in us? I need to prepare a place for Him by trading all the darkness within me through the Blood of the Lamb.
Testing my heart and knowing what character is His, and what in me is still characterized by darkness.
He is full of compassion, He is merciful, kind, gentle and filled with truth. He is aggressive against darkness; He ALWAYS finishes that which He has started. And even now, He is standing with arms wide open ready to embrace us as we turn towards Him for everything in our lives.
This is our assignment – to host the King of Glory! Give Him your everything – yourself as a vessel of honor for the Master’s use.
Our true identity and destiny will be fulfilled when Christ within, becomes our hope of Glory. When we become one with Him, we can take the keys of the Kingdom and open up the power gene – the love gene – being transformed from glory to glory. Becoming Christ-like in our thinking, speech, serving and loving.
I invite you to join us this year, 22 June - 2 July in Israel. It will be a summer vacation in Israel and we will seek His presence more than we seek anything else! It is Abba Father who invites you, as He knocks on the door of your heart. When you feel the cry of your heart to visit Israel and seek more of Him, now is your time!
But be prepared, this is a time where your Abba wants to bless you and pour Himself, His Presence over you!
