Only Light exposes darkness.

30 January 2017 ,

Only Light exposes darkness.

We live in Stellenbosch in South Africa, a beautiful student town. Many nights as we come back from ministering we have to drive through town on our way home. One night I saw a dark place (venue) and the students partying in the darkness. I can only imagine what is going on in those dark places. After arriving home that night, we sat around the table having coffee with Josh. I was telling him about the place we drove by and how the students were drinking and doing who knows what in there! “I just don't understand why they don't have any lights in there.” You can imagine Josh’s face as he just smiled at his mom’s remarks. I explained to him that those who enter in there, chose to enter under that demonic principality. “But Josh - I have a brilliant plan.” I stood up, opened the drawer and took out a very powerful torch. “Josh, this is for you. When you are going to study one day, this torch will go with you wherever you go. This is your torch. So when there is darkness around you, you just say – ‘Don't worry everyone!’ Then you just switch on the light and they all will be able to see!” He started laughing.

Don't ever leave this torch at home, when you dress always put the torch in your pocket!” You can imagine his face – “Mo- ooom!” We all laughed, enjoying joking around.

As I walked to my room I heard Holy Spirit say, “You are right My child, I want My children to be warriors of light. My Light will always shine out of you and where you go, you will expose the darkness.” That is what I was trying to communicate to my 15 year old son. He knows the truth. I was just practically showing him the power of this Light in us.

Romans 13:12 We also unravel the works of darkness and we clothe ourselves in the armor of light.

The Light is the most powerful weapon that exists and no demon can stand against it. The Light is YHVH Himself, and we are living torches, radiating the Light of the Most High God, YHVH, wherever we go.

The battle is between darkness and light.

John 1:4,5 In Him was life, and the life was the light of men. And the light shines in the darkness, and the darkness did not comprehend it.

The amount of Light in us is the amount of life in us. That is why we are able to look in someone’s eyes and say “Hallo, anybody home???” If it is all dark in there, it means there is no life. So many people live their lives, but without life - meaning they have no light in them.

This is a powerful warfare tool. As soon as there is light, the darkness just flees. I have seen this so, so many times in my life. Christ’s Light in me, became the most powerful warfare tool I have. But, this Light of Yeshua only invades my life when I repent, die to self and become transparent.

It is valid to ask why there is still warfare. Why doesn't all the darkness just flee as we as Christians move in? You see, there are dark structures build around man, I call them veils. These veils are the epigenetics (unrepented sin of man - the octopus on the mind of man that blinds us). This mind controlling spirit blinds us so that everything around us becomes darkness and we cannot see. Many born again believers are still blinded by their iniquity (epigenetics) that paid out on the mind with cell memory of their forefathers. And this demonic cell memory (curses) controls their lives.

We as children of YHVH have the presence of the Light in us, but few have the visible manifestation of this Light through the lifestyle of being a child of YHVH. It only becomes visible after our old self is broken down, the veils are torn, (epigenetic generational mind control curses broken) and we gain understanding through Holy Spirit of how the Kingdom of Light and its principles operate. The manifestation of His Light in us will only begin as you walk in these Kingdom principles.

Satan knows that the Light is the only weapon he cannot fight against. The Blood of Yeshua, the work on the cross, brings Light - since it is the death of Yeshua that releases the power to conquer Satan.

The dark kingdom can distinguish those who truly died in themselves, and those who only talk the talk and know all about the cross. The dark kingdom can see a hypocrite from a mile.

Start by taking responsibility for your life. Be ready to admit, be transparent and see how that will lead you into profound levels of light.

Spiritual warfare is of the Spirit and happens in the spirit. There is an anointing to wage war and the grace of YHVH for victory is a result of a life walked in the Light, filled with Holy Spirit. Our Abba even gave us an armor, telling us not to fight without this armor. But, many people do not understand that this armor is not only a declaration, but a lifestyle. This armor is to me more like a position that you take in - a heavenly position of truth, faith, love, right standing, light, transparency, in His Word, being rooted and grounded in Him - and from this position you are always ready to fight any spiritual battle. Because in Him is Light!

I have found that this armor does not cover hypocrites who, for instance, make a declaration that they wear the helmet of Truth - but don't walk in the Truth. Instead they walk in falsehood and lies. If your tongue is contaminated by poison, gossip, hate and bitterness you are not in the plumb line of YHVH, where the anointing and light can flow through you. These are truths that Abba taught me in my own life. The battles in the Spirit which I have lost and even got hurt in, were because I was my own hindrance. You see, YHVH and the enemy always look at the condition of our hearts. There was still darkness in me, and till this day, I want to bring all darkness in me out into the light as soon as possible. I now know and understand that darkness is the breeding place for Satan and all his dark schemes.

The armor of YHVH is a powerful gift from our Abba Father. It protects us against the schemes of the enemy. But, it only fits you and me to the degree that we have died. We grow into it through love. No pride, falsehood, lies, impurity and self will fit in. Only when you are clothed in meekness and the fear of the Lord – are you clothed in Him, and armed by Holy Spirit.

This armor is build for the man who is filled with faith in YHVH.

Friday night Josh and some of his friends went to a University event, where all the first-year students performed in a concert. On his way out, I opened the drawer and took out the torch. “Do you think you might need this Josh?” He just laughed putting his hand on his heart - silent language between mother and son. I heard him saying in my spirit, “Mom, relax - His light is in me. Wherever I go, He goes, you have to trust me now, mom.” We both just smiled as he left with a wave and kiss. With a brave face I stood at the door as he gave me a thumbs up – “I have the torch in me, love you mom!”

The Light of God is what we need to fight in the heavenly places. The more light and transparency - the more power! Stay in holiness and obedience to God YHVH. Staying in the Light means - staying in Him!

Ephesians 1:18-23 By having the eyes of your heart flooded with light, so that you can know and understand the hope to which He has called you, and how rich is His glorious inheritance in the saints (His set-apart ones), And [so that you can know and understand] what is the immeasurable and unlimited and surpassing greatness of His power in and for us who believe, as demonstrated in the working of His mighty strength, Which He exerted in Christ when He raised Him from the dead and seated Him at His [own] right hand in the heavenly [places],

Far above all rule and authority and power and dominion and every name that is named [above every title that can be conferred], not only in this age and in this world, but also in the age and the world which are to come.

And He has put all things under His feet and has appointed Him the universal and supreme Head of the church [a headship exercised throughout the church], [Ps. 8:6.] Which is His body, the fullness of Him Who fills all in all [for in that body lives the full measure of Him Who makes everything complete, and Who fills everything everywhere with Himself].

Love to you. Retah and family.
